Terms of Service
Draft — not reviewed by a lawyer. Do not publish as-is.
Last updated: [NEEDS YOUR INPUT — date of the reviewed version]
1. Who you are contracting with
gomomo is operated by [NEEDS YOUR INPUT — registered company name],
registered in [NEEDS YOUR INPUT — country] under company number
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT], at [NEEDS YOUR INPUT — registered address]
("we", "us").
These terms apply to your use of gomomo.app and the applications it provides.
2. What gomomo does, and what it does not do
gomomo helps you work out what your services cost to deliver and what you would
need to charge to reach a margin you choose. It performs arithmetic on figures
you supply.
It is not accounting, tax or financial advice. The figures it produces
depend entirely on what you enter, including estimates you make about your own
capacity and costs. You remain responsible for your prices and for any decision
you take on the basis of them.
3. Your account
You need an account to use gomomo. You are responsible for keeping your
credentials secure, and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if
you believe someone else has access.
You may invite others to your account and give them roles that limit what they
can see and do. You remain responsible for what they do.
4. Advisory access
An accountant or advisor may ask for access to your account. **They cannot
grant it to themselves** — you approve each request, you choose what role they
receive, and you can revoke it at any time. Revocation takes effect on their
next request.
An advisory firm cannot create an account on your behalf or enter data as you.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Plans and prices are shown at gomomo.app/pricing. Payment is taken by Stripe;
we do not store your card details.
- A subscription renews automatically for the interval you chose until you
cancel.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period.
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — confirm this is your intended refund position]
- Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects a renewal.
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — how much notice]
- Taxes are added where applicable.
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — merchant of record: you, or Stripe?]
Trials
A trial lasts seven days. A payment method is required to start one, and one
trial is available per account.
If you downgrade
Your data is never deleted because you moved to a smaller plan. Anything
beyond the new plan's limits becomes read-only: you can still see it and export
it, but not add to it. Moving back restores full access.
6. Your data
You own the data you put into gomomo. We process it to provide the service, as
described in the Privacy Policy.
You can export your data at any time while your account exists, including after
cancellation and while read-only.
7. What we ask of you
Do not use gomomo to break the law, to attempt to reach another customer's
data, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it as your own.
We may suspend an account that does. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will
tell you first.
8. Availability
We work to keep gomomo available and we do not promise it always will be.
There is no uptime commitment in these terms.
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — add an SLA here if you intend to offer one]
9. Liability
**[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — this section must be written or approved by a lawyer.
Limitation of liability is the clause most likely to be unenforceable if
drafted badly, and consumer protection rules differ across the EU. Do not
copy one from another service.]**
10. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from the billing screen. You can ask us to delete
your account, and we will, subject to the retention described in the Privacy
Policy.
We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you
before it takes effect.
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — how, and how far in advance]
12. Governing law
[NEEDS YOUR INPUT — governing law and courts]
13. Contact
